The purpose of the foundation is to leave a lasting impact on society through the preservation, research, and education of the mineral species that make up the earth, particularly those from Chile, by means of virtual and physical exhibitions, as well as studies related to their history, composition, and most significant characteristics.

Organization
Roberto Rojas Rivera (President) – Civil Mining Engineer from the University of Atacama, MBA – Master’s in Business Management and Administration from the University of Chile. A professional who has worked at various mining companies such as Freeport McMoran, Codelco, and Capstone Copper. He has been a mineral collector and researcher for over 25 years.
Arturo Molina Donoso (Vice President) – Geological Technician. A mineralogist who has dedicated his life to prospecting and research, primarily in northern Chile. Over the last 20 years, he has collaborated with various international scientists in the discovery and classification of more than 30 Chilean minerals, including Juangodoyite, Santarosite, Sanromanite, Joteite, Chanabayite, and Torrecillaside, among others.
Liver Rojas Barraza (Secretary) – Mining Execution Engineer from the University of Atacama, with geoscientific training at the University of Bochum, Germany. Former Director of the Mining Engineering Department at the University of Atacama, and full professor of mineralogy and petrography at the same institution.
Mario López Cortes (Treasurer) – Atacameño, mineral collector since the early 1980s, tireless explorer and an inexhaustible source of the best places to find minerals. His works, primarily in wood and mineral, decorate museums, universities, and private collections in Chile and in some other countries around the world.
